Within seconds the two are locked in combat, each breathing out the most lurid threats. But it takes more than a giant to match the skill and cunning of the Son of the Wind. He allows Panurat a couple of passes to see what kind of foe he is dealing with, and then with a dazzling piece of swordplay, brings the giant helpless to his knees, and hacks off his head.
Looking around him, Hanuman sees that the "park" has reverted to its original barren and waterless state.
