From the Museum site: Painting in Company style of the Astadikpala, Vayu. He is depicted crowned and four-armed and riding on his antelope vahana. In his upper two hands he carries a pennant (right) and club (left). His lower two hands are held in abhayamudra (right) and varadamudra (left). He is accompanied by two attendants - with a club (front) and a parasol held high above him (behind). An impression of perspective is provided by a lightly sketched-in foreground. On laid European paper watermarked with an armorial design.
