Hanuman makes himself huge and flies up to stop the sun while a potion is made to save Laksman, as seen in a mural at the Emerald Buddha Temple.
A two-faced and eight-armed Hanuman is flying out of the clouds to grab the outer rings of a gold, red, and green sun. The sun is shown here as a nested set of colored concentric circles. A mountain and forest scene is visible below.
To enable a special herbal potion to be made and given to the wounded Laksman before sunrise of the next day, Hanuman goes personally to stop the sun's movements while he collects the necessary herbs before the deadline when Laksman would die.
